There are a few different ways you can send files through Zinc. Our app is compatible with pdf, doc(x), ppt(x), xls(x), txt, md, py, js, c, m, xml, and json files.
The most common way to send files across all of our platforms is using the Send File button. The Send File button can be found at the bottom of any conversation you hold within Zinc, and appears as a lined piece of paper.
Clicking on this button will allow you to search for a specific file you want to send to another user or group of users. On the mobile application, choosing a file will generate a page preview before giving you the option to send.
On the desktop, our unique drag and drop feature allows you to seamlessly click and drag a file from your computer into your current Zinc conversation.
It's even easier to send files when you connect your file sharing accounts like Google Drive, Dropbox, and SharePoint to Zinc. Learn more about it here.
