The packages also install visualforce pages that can be added to your layouts using the instructions below.

Install the desired packages for all users and proceed to the directions below.

Add Zinc to your Layouts

Zinc can be added to either Classic or Lightning layouts. Follow the appropriate guide below based on your environment.

Classic Layout

Navigate to the page layout editor for the desired supported object and create a new single column section.

Scroll down to the Visualforce Pages section and locate the Embedded Zinc component. For accounts, for example, it will be called Zinc Embedded Account.

Drag the embedded Zinc element into the newly created section.

Lightning Layout

Navigate to the object which you would like to add Zinc to and select the Edit Page option from the gear dropdown in the upper right corner.

Find the Visualforce option on the lefthand side and drag the element onto the righthand column of the page layout.

Use the Visualforce Page Name field to locate and select the Zinc Embedded object page. A height of 400-500px is recommended for the element.

Save the changes and repeat the process with any other record types that require connected Zinc conversations.
